Mr. Lerner brings to Micromedic over 20 years of senior positions experience in business founding, management, and sales in healthcare and medical device companies.
Mr. Lerner was the Founder and CEO of HomeFree Systems, subsidiary of Dmatek Ltd. (listed on the London Stock Exchange). HomeFree developed advanced healthcare monitoring solutions for patients and residents; he managed the company from inception to becoming full commercial organization with global sales. Dmatek including HomeFree was acquired by 3M in 2010. Prior to that, Mr. Lerner served in several executive positions managing sales and distribution channels. Mr. Lerner holds an MBA in Business Management from Pace University, NYC and a BA in Economics from Tel Aviv University.
Yael A Glickman, PhD, MBA – VP Business Development
Dr. Glickman has over 15 years of managerial experience in the biomed and biotech industries where she played major roles in the development and commercialization of medical devices and biotech products. Prior to joining Micromedic, Dr. Glickman held several senior managerial positions. Particularly, she served as CEO of Kolmir, a Hutchison Kinrot portfolio company and as Vice President at Deepbreeze, heading the Strategic Business Unit for Intensive Care. More recently, she has established and managed a technological incubator at ECE Paris. Dr. Glickman holds a PhD (Cum Laude) from the Weizmann Institute and an MBA from the Technion Institute of Technology.
Noa Davis, PhD - R&D Director
Dr. Davis has significant research and development experience in various fields of biology including cancer, developmental biology, molecular biology and human genetics. Before joining Micromedic, Dr. Davis served as a research associate and a lab manager in the Sackler School of Medicine in the Tel Aviv University. Dr. Davis holds a PhD from the Department of Human Molecular Genetics and Biochemistry at the Tel Aviv University.
Ouriel Faktor, PhD, MBA – RA & QA Director
Dr. Faktor brings to Micromedic 25 years of experience in senior positions and management of R&D in large and small diagnostic companies. Previously, Dr. Faktor was the CTO of Biomarcare Technologies Ltd., engaged in the development of cancer diagnostic products. Prior to that, he served as Vice President for R&D at Alere (Orgenics), a global company and a significant player in the IVD market. During this time, he introduced fifteen products to the market, following full development, clinical validation and registration. Dr. Faktor holds a PhD from the Weizmann Institute and an MBA from the Ben Gurion University.
Itai Bar-Natan - CFO
Mr. Itai Bar-Natan is the CFO of BioLight. Previously Mr. Bar-Natan worked at Ernst & Young Israel and U.S for 10 years in several positions. His last role was a senior manager in the tech practice, leading diverse clients, including early stage through late stage, domestic, multinational and publically traded companies.
Mr. Bar-Natan has vast experience in corporate finance, international corporate tax, fund raising to early stage clients, M&As, IPOs and secondary capital raising. Mr. Bar-Natan holds a BA in Accounting (with honors) and Political Science from the Tel-Aviv University and is a CPA.
