Professor of medicine and gastroenterology at Tel Aviv University and director of the Integrated Cancer Prevention Center in Tel Aviv Medical Center, and serves as the head of the GI Oncology unit in the Department of Gastroenterology in the Tel Aviv Medical Center.

Dr. Itay Shafat

A graduate from the faculty of Medicine in the Technion, educated at Prof. Vlodavsky's lab. With experience in biomarker development, Dr. Shafat has the scientific background to assist Micromedic in coordinating its various ongoing and forthcoming projects. 

Vivi Ziv

Dr. Ziv holds MSc and PhD degrees in Chemistry from the Weizmann Institute, an MBA from the Bar-Ilan University and a BSc in Food Engineering and Biotechnology from the Technion, Israel's technology Institute.

Over the past 14 years, Dr. Ziv held senior executive and managerial roles in the biopharmaceutical industry, covering the whole range of product development, clinical and regulatory.

Mrs. Pollak is widely experienced in management of companies in the biotech industry. Among her roles, Mrs. Pollak served as CEO for Agro Green and led the company to a significant deal with Bayer. Mrs. Pollak also served as CEO of Lab-Interlink Europe, CEO of Gamidor Diagnostics Ltd and as VP business development for Healthcare Technologies. Mrs. Pollak is a graduate of the Hebrew University, Jerusalem.
